tailored jacket

 

i wanted to get a tailored jacket for more than a year. and, i finally got one end of last year, in japan.

this jacket is from dollygirl by anna sui.

so simple, i can wear it over jeans, skinny pants, mini dresses, or even to work. i think the girl at the shop told me the designer's theme for this jacket was 'cabaret'? little prints on the lining are so cute - top hat, love hearts and batons (that are lined together to shape a love heart).

if i roll the sleeves a little bit, these prints come out. if i roll a bit more, it's stripy! it is so detailed (i mean, other people can't really see the love heart with the batons can they?), it's almost like self-indulgence. i just grin with complacency, just looking at this jacket...haha

i also bought this mini skirt with the jacket. just because the shop staff was wearing it with the same jacket and it looked cute! they only had two sizes, medium and large. i got large, but since i'm taller than many japanese girls, it's still tight around the waist...i actually got sick when i went to have lunch wearing this skirt...
