great australian brand part 3 & stella mccartney

to be honest, i both like and dislike this brand.

like, because designs are unique but you don't get bored of them. 

dislike, because quality is not the best.

take this bag, for example. it was love at first sight, but the metal tassel (really heavy, brass perhaps?) broke off and i lost it. The tassel was there to close the front black pocket but now i only have this little chain hanging in front, as you can see in the picture, so i can't close the pocket. this black pocket is actually detachable and can be used as a clutch or pochette with or without a detachable band. but now i can't do that.

and this wallet was also love at first sight. little swarovski crystals are so feminine...but some of them fell off after a while and the front button became loose.

despite some of the past bad experiences, i keep buying mimco accessories. its design somehow captures girls' heart the shawl i bought recently is of course from mimco!

i love these hair accessories. so detailed. but must be careful not to lose the crystals!!

so, i'd recommend buying some simple mimco accessories - like this red leather bracelet (above) or classic mimco handbags.

by the way, i had decided to take a little break from shopping, but that would be imppppossibleee, i just found out target will have stella mccartney collection from this friday!!!!! apparently this is their second time to launch her collection at target, and back in 2007 people qued at the stores and it was sold out fast. i didn't know about this in 2007 - probably because the girl who cheated with my ex boyfriend was by the first name of stella, i didn't even want to see this brand name, stella mccartney at that time.

but this time, i would love love to get some of this collection!!!

great australian brand part 2

got this dress for less than half price, still wasn't so cheap...i've been spending too much money on shopping lately (though not so much on alcohol), time for self-restraint.

i'm still new to this brand, starting to like it. i have a t-shirt too - what to wear.

i think the best part of this brand is the versatility.

with the t-shirt, can wear it on its own, or over a dress or another top.

for this dress, wear it alone, or with pants/leggings. or, maybe even as a vest with buttons undone?

i actually really wanted this unaffordable dress by alexander wang - http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/80174 so this antipodium dress is kind of a substitute.

i was just watching "clara sheller" on youtube

it's a french drama series - i watched season 1 on tv a few years ago.

just then, i was watching season 2

i really love this show. love the storyline, love what clara wears!!! it's fun to watch cause she mixes and matches same items like ordinary girls! she wears this silver tailored jacket with everything...now i want something similar! i only have a grey jacket - hmm...silver jacket, on my wish list!!

pop (kitsch? nooo) but sexyyyy! love them!!!!! love the mix of rather contrasting concepts.

peter alexander - i'd never paid attention to what i wore to sleep before i met this brand.

these cotton leggings are so comfy and i love the little flower prints. this was an impulse purchase.

can you see the prints on the next one? it's breakfast!!! winter fleece pj pants. birthday present from my little sister a few years ago.

slip dress is from my friends. love the lace and bright colour! so comfy during summer.

last one is must have shorts in summer - cupcake prints!

shawl

 it's been raining and is cold! got this shawl from mimco today, was less than half price.

i've had an eye on this shawl a few weeks ago, went to the store again today and got it! i wear black a lot, am sure i will use this shawl very often.

recent shopping part 2

 received my online order yesterday.

this is t by alexander wangs sweat top. only large was left but cause it was on sale i got it anyway.

when i opened the package, this jumper looked huuuuge!! when i put it on, it is still huge, but somehow looks feminine. alexander wang is amazing. i can wear it with a belt for an even more girly look!

recent shopping part 1

 i had zero drop of alcohol tonight. went cosmetics shopping after work and came home.quiet night.friday, yay.

i was using facial moisturiser from lush for a few months cause i thought i'd try an organic one, must be good for my skin.

first one was 'vanishing cream' and then 'imperials'. they both didn't work well on my skin and recently i was having breakouts. vanishing cream was too dry on my skin and imperials was too oily...

shame, cause i'm liking their powder deodorant and the soap the shop staff gave me to try.

so, i went to kit and got origins perdect world moisturiser. it was out of my price range...but but, it feels really soft on the skin and does not feel greasy at all. i'll see if my skin condition improves...

then i went to m.a.c. to get pressed powder and a lipstick. i think mac has a greeeat colour range. i buy all my colour make-ups from mac. i can't afford to buy eeeevrything mac so i like rimmel for eyeliner and mascara!

i wanted a matt lipstick for a few month now, finally got it! tried on pink-beige one first, didn't really click, tried darker beige (velvet teddy), it looked much better...i love it! it's such a good feeling to find a colour that suits you!!!!

v-neck cardi

might be too dark to see, but this is my recent favourite work outfit...

black v-neck cardi and highwaisted navy-stripy skirt (cue). i'm now into v-neck cardi tucked in highwaisted skirt/pants.

i actually want to wear the cardi with just a bra underneath but, because i) i have no breats and ii) this is a work outfit, i have to wear a cami underneath!!!

my wallet xx

got it (was on sale!) from prada surfers paradise as my birthday present from my parents xx who would buy a wallet with many many studs? that's why i chose this one...

online shopping, again

the dress & shorts i got online recently - found out that they went 30% off like 2 weeks after i bought them...this is the worst thing that could happen in shopping!!

the exchange rate is still pretty good so i did another online shopping on sunday (i recovered from the above bad experience quite quickly). i'm now obsessed with easy cool looks, so i ordered black track pants and a white cotton jumper (sale item, there was only L size left, so hopefully it's not too oversized) - both t by alexander wang.

i want to buy new powder foundation and lip stick but they are on my low priority list...
my shopping priority - weekend clothes; bags; shoes; work clothes; cosmetics; jewellery.
