from browsing online boutiques and other fashion blogs, i had the feeling flared pants are making a come back? so! i dug out an old pair of flared jeans from the closet (actually they are my sisters). they must be something like 10 years old but i thought fashion trends repeat themselves.

saturday dinner - prawn cream croquettes & pumpkin soup

i've been feeling down since friday night - the 'i should not have sent that text' sick feeling all weekend.

dijon mustard sauce

saturday dinner- the recipe is from milk & mode blog:) the recipe requires the chicken to be put in the oven at 230C. the chicken is cooked at a such high temperature, and i made a mess inside the oven...it tasted great nonetheless, it was definitely worth it! i especially love the sauce.

little note, the recipe also requires white wine to make the sauce. i told the girl at the bottle shop i was looking for cheap wine for cooking, and she found me a $2.20 wine! i can tell you though, my sauce still tasted great with this wine!

mum's recipe - english breakfast tea and spice cake with condensed milk icing. so so moist.

i bought ginger powder for the cake so i baked ginger cookies too!

loccitane

funny even a cheeky whistle from 2 old traddies lightened my dull day and week

by the way i recently swapped the origin moisturiser with this one from loccitane. this series is very mild and can even be used on babies skins. it absorbs well on your skin. i actually like the little sticky feeling after use but, it is still very light. my skin has been in a pretty good condition!
