studs studs studs!!!

finally, a handbag by alexander wang! shopbop, you are amazing! ordered friday night and it was delivered this morning.

the studs looked rose gold in the picture on the website but they were actually yellow gold (a little bit disappointed as i love rose gold). and, to add, i put too much wax in some places and made the leather look grey.

but! i am very happy with this bag!!! i love alexander wang!!!

sunday roast

i tried making roast pork for the first time today. it tasted great with veg gravy. but i couldn't get the cracklings crispy.

dinner

cheddar was on special so i made a salad with tomato and cucumber. refreshing summer salad! sprinkled balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. and, hainan chicken, though nothing fancy...i used the simplest receipe.

i cooked a lot today!!!

green tea buscuits

made with leftover egg yorks from the pavlova. no idea why they didn't turn out green.

pavlova

i woke up early this morning (yes 9 is early), no hang over, did laundry, cleaned my garage, then made a pavlova - GREAT success. i fell in love with pavlova since i came to australia and this is the first ever recipe i was successful in making it.

i found the recipe on milk & mode website again. it is called 'rebecca taylor's pavlova'. though i replaced fresh berries with canned berries, lazy me. i am now in love with the recipes carol han introduces on her blog. can't wait to try other recipes too. xx

simple yet tasty

i tried this ketchup chicken recipe on milk & mode blog some time this week. it was super easy to make, even after a long day at work. of course it tasted delicious, you wouldn't guess you only use flour, chicken, garlic, kayen pepper (i replaced it with chilli), ketchup, salt and pepper!!

mood enhancer

my mood enhanced by fantastic news of my wonderful friend's, i went on to do some shopping this afternoon. shopping is a mood lifter when you are stressed or heart broken, but it can also be a mood enhancer when you are feeling happy!!

first photo is a much-needed-pair of flats, from sportsgirl. i fell in love with the unique diagonal straps.

my main aim today in fact was to get something from portmans x abbey lee kershaw's new aw11 collection. i love abbey lee and when i first saw portmans' ad on the current issue of russh (below), i just had to get it. she wears this top over a paisley maxi dress. i couldn't afford to buy the dress today but i'm thinking of wearing the top in many ways, with my black maxi or jeans. abbey looks just stunningly cool, i admire her looks a lot

almost wedges

from japan. am glad i chose this lavender colour instead of black. this colour is actually quite versatile. this pair and the dknyc heels are my comfy routine heels currently. i'm in serious need of flats, my bloch and nine west flats are in wreck.
